How to become the smartest region in the world?

Rob enthusiastically went into his time as mayor of Eindhoven with amusing anecdotes and stories about working with multinationals, innovation drive on the High Tech Campus, the birth of the Brainport region and how the city of Eindhoven was eventually named the smartest region in the world.

In addition, two good relations of Fourtress with great technical innovations from the region spoke. First, Tobias Bakker, Technical Director of Contronics, had an inspiring story about their Dry Misting machines. These ultrasonic humidifiers combat food waste by creating the ideal microclimate for fruits and vegetables in supermarkets.
HubTech/Gravaa
Next to speak was Gertjan van Ginderen, Managing Director of HubTech/GRAVAA, about their revolutionary KAPS (Kinetic Air Pressure System) system that they have developed. This makes it possible to adjust tyre pressure to the road surface while cycling. This system was recently used successfully by the famous cycling team Jumbo-Visma during the Paris-Roubaix cycling classic.
A beautiful, pleasant and successful evening where people stayed till late in the evening talking while enjoying a snack and a drink.
